The founder of the Company David Halford started his showbiz career as a keyboard player and working with many top UK & International stars like: Cannon & Ball, Joe Longthorne, Bobby Davro, Dionne Warwick, Jack Jones, The Drifters, The Platters and many more.

It was a natural progression for him to move into the theatre agency and management of acts, as a musician and Musical Director David had booked many musicians to come and work on shows that David was involved in. David progressed to working with one of the UK’s leading promoters selling and producing shows to tour the UK and after 5 years David felt he could go as far as he could with the company, so he left and set up Artistes Direct Ltd.

Since setting up Artistes Direct the company year on year has went from Strength to Strength and now Artistes Direct Ltd are booking theatre shows for the like of Joe Longthorne, Freddie Starr, The Orchestra (ELO & ELO part II former members), Dionne Warwick, and many more.

Artistes Direct not only book theatre shows within it’s own office, but they also book theatre tours for independant producers and promoters working hand in hand with our client base to get the best possible deal on offer for these people and their artists. We have a great working relationship with over 1000 venues up and down the UK and we have recently started working with European, Asian and Australian promoters and producers.
